President Hwan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Director Yun Ju Gyeong of the Independence Hall, to foster mutual development and public exchange.

Both SMU and the Independence Hall agreed:

²  To manage trial program for the reunification.

²  To have mentor - mentee programs between the employees of the Independence Hall and the international students at SMU.

²  To provide voluntary activities and practical training for students.

²  To exchange materials from SMU’s Museum and library.

²  To give lecture on the history of Independence, joint researches programs, field experiences, field placement training etc.…
