The Center of 3D Convergence Technique of Sun Moon University visited Nan-yang Technical University in Singapore from January 18th to 22th. Two universities signed the MOU for joint research in the field of 3D convergence technique and had a discussion regarding oversea venture support program.

The content of the agreement was about joint research in the field of 3D convergence technique and student exchange between the Center of 3D Convergence Technique of Sun Moon University and Multiscale Smart System LAB of Nan-yang Technical University. Tae-suk Jang, head of LINC(Leaders in Industry-university Cooperation) project team, Chang-ha Choi, director for planning, Jong-hae Kim, dean of academic affairs, Dong-gu Lee, director of the Center of 3D Convergence Technique attended the meeting.

In the future, a personal exchange related to the 3D convergence technique will be activated by joint progress of development subject such as Smart City, Smart Factory, 3D printer, through cooperation between Multiscale Smart System LAB of Nan-yang Technical University and the Center for 3D Convergence Technique.

Besides, they visited BASH & NTI(Nan-yang Techbridge Inst), center for small and medium-sized business support in Singapore and had a briefing session about the current operating situation of the venture support program targeting the whole students in Asia. Also, had a discussion about the process of business incubator support and procedure for entering the start-up centre supported by NTI.

Furthermore, Sun Moon University established a stepping-stone to build global network for recommendation of foreign students, oversea employment, and overseas expansion of local businesses by having signboard hanging ceremony in TechBRIDGE(NTI) GICO(the base office) of Nan-yang Technical University in Singapore.
